Revolutionizing Sleepwear: Dagsmejan's Award-Winning Design

Dagsmejan was founded with the mission to develop the most innovative sleepwear that enhances the quality of sleep. The team, consisting of sleep scientists, textile engineers, and research and manufacturing partners from leading institutions across Europe, aimed to create sleepwear that keeps the wearer in the ideal climatic zone for longer, thereby improving sleep quality and duration.

The 'Right Degree' sleepwear is unique in its use of high-tech natural fibre and integrated functional zones, a concept known from sportswear but never before used in fine-knitting of natural fibres. This sleepwear is scientifically proven to boost sleep comfort, making it stand out in the market.

The creation of the 'Right Degree' required innovative technology. Dagsmejan used circular knitting with jacquard panels to create a super fine fabric using natural fibres. Different knitting structures were tested for their temperature and moisture management properties and then integrated into the fabric and garment in the areas of the body where we tend to sweat and get warm.

The 'Right Degree' is made of 94% hydrophobic treated MicroModal and 6% elastane. The sleepwear improves sleep comfort on four levels: maintaining the best temperature for sleep, outstanding moisture management, supreme fit and comfort, and a super soft touch.

The development of this innovative sleepwear started in 2016 in Switzerland. After extensive research and testing, the final product was launched in 2018. The project was a part of a federally funded research project in Switzerland, where material scientists and textile engineers researched and tested all fabrics. The sleepwear has been tested in labs and with consumers, proving its effectiveness in boosting sleep comfort.

The 'Right Degree' sleepwear by Dagsmejan represents a significant step forward in the sleepwear industry.
